Good poem...

somewhere I have
never traveled,
gladly beyond
any experience,
your eyes have their silence;
in your most
frail gesture
are things which enclose me,
on which
I cannot touch
because they
are too near.

Concering James...I think I'm over my "stupid" phase...

Green light, Seven Eleven
You stop in for a pack of cigarettes
You don't smoke, don't even want to
Hey now, check your change
Dressed up like a car crash
Your wheels are turning but you're upside down
You say when he hits you, you don't mind
Because when he hurts you, you feel alive
Hey babe, is that what it is

Red lights, gray morning
You stumble out of a hole in the ground
A vampire or a victim
It depends on who's around
You used to stay in to watch the adverts
You could lip synch to the talk shows

And if you look, you look through me
And when you talk, you talk at me
And when I touch you, you don't feel a thing

If I could stay...
Then the night would give you up
Stay...and the day would keep its trust
Stay...and the night would be enough

Faraway, so close
Up with the static and the radio
With satellite television
You can go anywhere
Miami, New Orleans
London, Belfast and Berlin

And if you listen I can't call
And if you jump, you just might fall
And if you shout, I'll only hear you

If I could stay...
Then the night would give you up
Stay...then the day would keep its trust
Stay...with the demons you drowned
Stay...with the spirit I found
Stay...and the night would be enough

Three o'clock in the morning
It's quiet and there's no one around
Just the bang and the clatter
As an angel runs to ground

Just the bang
And the clatter
As an angel
Hits the ground

Damian Lewis is delicious. Go see Dreamcatcher as soon as possible. It's worth the 6 or 7 bucks. I've been humming "Blue Bayou" since yesterday because of that movie. Go download it, but make sure to get the Roy Orbison version. It's ten times better than the others.

Dinner on Sat. with James was nice. That's all I'm saying about that.

I also went out today with James to Carytown. I really had a good time with him, and everything went very nicely ^_^ I bought this huge-ass poster of Robbie Williams in the makeup he wore for the "Let Me Entertain You" video, and on the way back home we were listening to that song at full blast. James was singing along (and trying to get me to..nononono, damnit.) and he had a really nice voice. All raspy rockstar-like. Very attractive. On a whole, he was very attractive this evening...hrm.

I feel so bad, I got a worried mind;
I'm so lonesome all the time
Since I left my baby behind on Blue Bayou

Saving nickels, saving dimes;
Working till the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times on Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday, come what may to Blue Bayou
Where you sleep all day and the catfish play on Blue Bayou
All those fishing boats with their sails afloat, if I could only see
That familiar sunrise through sleepy eyes, how happy I'd be

Gonna see my baby again
And to be with some of my friends
Maybe I'll be happy then on Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday, gonna stay on Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fine, and the world is mine on Blue Bayou
Oh that girl of mine by my side, the silver moon and the evening time
Oh, on some sweet day, gonna take away this hurtin' inside
I'd never be blue, my dreams come true
On Blue Bayou
