I need depressing country music right now because my relationship is depressing me right now. Laura knows somewhat of what I am speaking.

Basically, James was being an asshole. But my mom said it's a game that all men play, so I shouldn't worry. And I won't. I've decided not to go to Arlington with him, Josh, and Jess today, and instead focus on Longwood stuff. I know if I go with them we'll just start fighting again. And after having James make feel like utter shit, I don't really want to go through with that again with two other people in the car.

So I think I need to spend some time apart from James. Just so I can learn to be an individual again and so that I won't be horribly depressed when I go to college.

Times like these make me feel greateful to have such a strong-willed and obviously loving mother.
